I'm connected.

I will employ a network of designers, SEO content writers, photographers, and other specialists who use the latest technology available to save you money, build your brand, and boost conversions.

Already have a designer?

I will work with your designer to make pixel-perfect reproductions of her mockup. I write clean code with the latest standards. I optimize for all major browsers - Internet Explorer 6.0 and up, Firefox, Chrome, and Safari.

Distinctive Gardens

An informational branding site for a Seattle based landscaping company. We dazzle the user with a custom Flash image gallery that's one of a kind. All images can be swapped out with a simple edit of an XML file.

We implemented a simple MVC pattern. All images are referenced from a single entry in an xml file and dynamically resized to thumbnails within Flash.

Christensen Net-works

An informational branding site for a commercial net manufacturer. Christensen Net-works features a shopping cart powered by an open source e-commerce framework called PrestaShop. We use Flash on the home page navigation to establish credibility as a major competitor, and to encourage the user to click through to the appropriate section of the site.

By connecting to the same database used by PrestaShop, we dynamically generate an XML file with the entries for top level categories and corresponding descriptions used in the shopping cart. A Flash module on the homepage loads the XML file and dynamically generates navigation to access the various sections of the site.

Sportnetting.com

Sportnetting features a contemporary design inspired by leading corporate golf product companies. A fully custom Content Management System adds, updates, categorizes, and sorts products. The home page integrates Flash to direct the user to areas in the site, which can be changed with a simple edit of an XML file.

We integrated jQuery UI allowing us to create drag and drop functionality to sort images, products, and categories with AJAX. Besides hand written jQuery and javaScript, we incorporated various jQuery plugins such as Uploadify, tinyMCE, jPaginate, scrollTo, and an image gallery.

  1. Project Brief

At our first meeting, we'll outline project goals, timelines, audiences, and competitors. We'll discuss an approach to solving your design puzzle.

  2. Research

I research your audience, competitors, and create audience profiles from my findings.

  3. Explore

Now that the pieces of the puzzle are in front of me, I explore ways of fitting them together. I explore navigation structures, font and color choices, and sketch out some ideas for the home page.

  4. Discuss

At our next meeting, I present digital illustrations of layout and design ideas. We will talk about what you like and what you don't like, and decide how to merge the ideas into one.

  5. Prototype

Next, I create a prototype based on the direction we choose. I can present this in person, via Skype, or over the telephone.

  6. Delivery

Once you approve the prototype, I work with network of professionals such as photographers, SEO content writers, and database administrators to deliver a solution to the puzzle. In two meetings and a phone conference, you have solved the puzzle.

Let's work together

I want to make the internet a beautiful place full of color, motion, and life. Why? I'm here all the time and much of it is a painful experience. So, let's work together to achieve our goals.
